Lord of the Rings and Co

Those books are massive! We were set ’The Hobbit’ just before the lock down and I really struggled with actually reading the book. I hated every minute of it. I already knew the story. Why do I have to read it again! My teacher, back in Abbey Meads, had already read it to me.

I managed to convince my mum I didn’t actually have to read it... We talked about the book, and about Tolkien’s life... and we even watch the movie (result!) It was OK. Hobbits have terrible feet. I liked the riddles though. Since then, my brothers and I have been making up our own riddles.. it’s good fun!

We also watched the other movies (lord of the rings and co). They go on for a bit... but it was a nice thing to do together.
